Merril van Rensburg has over 30 years’ experience as a professional counsellor. Developing a professional counselling ministry that has seen hundreds of people restored emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.

Merril is an Accredited and Registered Counsellor and Supervisor with the Association of Christians in Counsellors UK. He is an accredited EMDR Practitioner with EMDR UK and has trained in Systemic Family Therapy at the Prudence Skynner Couple Therapy Clinic, Springfield University Clinic in the UK. He is also a certified clinician in Psychosexual Counselling, and Christian Sex Therapy (Sexual Addiction and Trauma Treatment) from The Institute for Sexual Wholeness in the USA. Merril also completed 2 years theology training, receiving a Bible School Diploma from the Mossel Bay Community Church Bible Training Centre in South Africa.

Merril has experience in working with many different mental health problems. His main interests are helping people develop their interpersonal relationships, adult and developmental trauma. He has specialised experience in working with spiritual and sexual abuse.
